卫矛尺蠖寄主于木槿、卫矛、丝棉木、大叶黄杨、女贞等植物，既影响苗木的正常生长，又降低植物的观赏效果，对园林植物来说具有严重的危害性，现将防治要点分享如下：
【1】尺蠖的形态特征：
1、幼虫：老熟时体长33毫米左右，体黑色，由白线或黄线分隔成6条明显较宽的黑色纵带。胸足黑色，基部有淡黄色环纹，腹足黑色，外侧为黄色，端部淡黄色。

1、物理防治：
（1）于秋冬季在树下挖蛹消灭过冬虫源。
（2）于幼虫为害期摇树或振枝，使虫吐丝下垂坠地，集中消灭。
