非常漂亮用英语,挺漂亮的英语

HieverybodyandwelcomebacktoLoveEnglish.大家好,欢迎来到爱英语。I&39;maBritishUniversityEnglishteacher.我是萨布拉,是一名英

Hi everybody and welcome back to Love English.

大家好,欢迎来到爱英语。

I&39;m a British University English teacher.

我是萨布拉,是一名英国大学英语老师。

So it is of course cricket season.

现在是板球赛季。

And this year the World Cup is in England.

今年的世界杯在英格兰举行。

I&39;ve got lots of followers from India,Pakistan.

我相信你们很多人都在观看,因为我知道我们有很多来自印度、巴基斯坦的粉丝。

So I'm sure lots of you out there are watching.

我相信你们很多人都在观看这一赛事。

Now you probably know that cricket actually originated in the UK.

你可能知道板球实际上起源于英国。

We started playing cricket in the UK in about the 18th century.

英国人大约在18世纪开始打板球。

So we invented it and it has in fact influenced a lot of our vocabulary.

我们发明了板球,事实上它影响了我们的很多词汇。

There are many idiomatic expressions that come from cricket.

有许多习语来自板球。

So today we're going to look at ten of these idioms that all originally come from cricket.

今天我们要看十个这些习语,它们最初都来自板球。

And these idioms are really common in everyday British conversation.

这些习语在日常对话中非常常见。

In fact, before I became a cricket fan,I used to say these idioms without knowing what they actually meant in cricket.

事实上,在我成为板球爱好者之前,我常常说这些习语,但却不知道它们在板球中的实际含义。

So they&39;re not a cricket fan.

即使你不是板球迷,你也经常会在日常生活中用到它们。

非常漂亮英语是very beautiful。读音:[ˈveri ˈbju:təful]表达意思:非常美丽;非常漂亮。词性:通常在句中作形容词,修饰主语或宾语。固定搭配:Scenery is very beautiful 景色非常美丽 ; 景色也很美 。

These are going to be so useful as we use them all the time in everyday British conversation.

它们非常有用,因为我们在日常对话中一直在使用它们。

Let's go everybody,10 idioms that all originated from the wonderful British game of cricket.

让我们开始吧,这10个习语都起源于英国精彩的板球比赛。

一定要在 Instagram 上也关注我们。

Okay,so idiom number one is: to have a good innings.

漂亮的英语表达是:1、beautiful,音标:英[_bju_t_fl]美[_bju_t_fl]。2、pretty,音标:英[_pr_ti]美[_pr_ti]。形容男生可爱好看可以用cute、handsome。abeautifulwoman/face/baby/voice/poem/smell/evening。漂亮的。

第一个习语是:to have a good innings(击球得胜;一帆风顺;事业有成)。

If you know cricket then you will know that your innings is the time that you play for,so your 50 overs.

如果你懂板球,你会知道局数是你打比赛时间,也就是50回合。

But when we use this idiom in daily conversation we mean that somebody has had a good life,a full life.

但是当我们在日常对话中使用这个习语时,我们的意思是某人有过美好的生活,充实的生活。

We might often say it when somebody has actually passed away or an animal has passed away.

我们可能经常在有人真的去世或动物去世时说这句话。

If they&39;ve had a full life,we might say &39;s very sad but they had a good innings",meaning they had a good time, they enjoyed their time.

如果他们活得很长,过得很充实,我们可能会说:“这很难过,但他们的人生一帆风顺,”这意味着他们过得很开心,享受了时光。

Just like we would in cricket say if somebody has played well that they had a good innings.

就像我们在板球运动中会说的那样,如果有人打得好,他就击球得胜。

So an example sentence would be,&39;d had a very good innings." Number two is the phrase: be cricket, which means to be fair and just about something.

举个例子,“祖父去世的时候我真的很难过,但他已经95岁了,挺漂亮的英语,他的日子过得很好。”第二个是这样一句话:be cricket(公正的),这意味着公平和公正。

Now cricket is a very civilized game.

板球是一项非常文明的运动。

It&39;s game,as it did originate amongst the upper classes.

它一直被认为是绅士的游戏,因为它确实起源于上层阶级。

Therefore when we say something is cricket,we will say it is fair.

所以当我们说什么东西 is cricket 时候,我们的意思它是公平的。

We often use this in the negative.

我们经常在否定句中使用这个表达。

So if we say &39;s not cricket&39;t fair.

所以如果我们说“well,that's not cricket”,这意味着有些事情不公平。

Something about that situation is not fair.

这种情况有些不公平。

An example sentence would be,&39;t believe management would behave like that.

一个例句是,“她在最后一分钟被那样解雇,这实在不公平。我不敢相信管理层会那样做。

Number three is: to hit or to knock someone for six. This is certainly a phrase that I use very often.

第三是:to hit or to knock someone for six(使...惊呆)。这是我经常使用的一个短语。

So &34;,you cricket fans out there will know that six is the highest score.

to hit or to knock someone for six,你们这些板球爱好者会知道6分是最高分。

And so the opposing teams are going to be very shocked if the batsman hits a six.

因此,如果击球手打出6分,对方球队会非常震惊。

So this is literally what it means, the idiom means to be very shocked by something,to be overwhelmed by it.

这就是它的字面意思,这个成语的意思是被某事震惊,感到震惊。

If we say &34;,it's something really surprising, really shocking.

如果我们说“that really knocked me for six”,那真是令人惊讶,令人震惊。

It's more used in a negative way.

very pretty 英文发音:[ˈveri ˈprɪti]中文释义:非常漂亮;很漂亮;很美 例句:Whitstable is still a very pretty little town.惠特斯特布尔仍然是一个非常漂亮的小镇。词汇解析:pretty 英文发音:[&#。

它更多的是用在消极方面。

So when we receive negative information or something negative happens to us,that we find very shocking we might say,&34; Now an example sentence would be,&34; Don't worry guys,Leila is not leaving, just an example before you guys start to have a heart attack about that.

所以当我们收到负面信息或者负面的事情发生在我们身上时,我们会感到非常震惊,我们会说,“哦,真让我大吃一惊。&34;别担心,莱拉不会走的,这只是个例子,免得你们心脏病发作。

She's not leaving but,of course,if she did say that it would really knock me for six.

她不会走的,但是,当然,如果她真的说了,我会大吃一惊的。

So great example there.

这是个很好的例子。

Number four is: to be bowled over.

第四是:to be bowled over(折服;震惊)。

Of course,in cricket, this means that the bowler has bowled the batsman.

当然,在板球比赛中,这意味着投球手击败了击球手。

Something that he can&39;s bowled over, perhaps even fallen over or lost his footing.

一些他不能得到的东西,所以他被击倒了,甚至可能跌倒或失去了立足点。

So how we use this in everyday conversation?

那么我们如何在日常对话中使用它呢?

It&39;s something that has really shocked us.

还是一样的意思,它指的是真正让我们震惊的事情。

This can also be a positive thing.

这也可以是一件积极的事情。

It can be positive or negative.

可以是正面的也可以是负面的。

We can say I was bowled over by my pay rise.

我们可以说我被加薪震惊了。

I really didn't expect it.

真没想到。

You know I was so surprised by that.

你知道我对此很惊讶。

So again it's something that is surprising or shocking.

所以这又是一件令人惊讶或震惊的事情。

但它实际上可能比 knock someone for six 更多用在正面的表达上。

Number five is: to be on a sticky wicket,on a sticky wicket.

第五是:to be on a sticky wicket(处于不利地位)。

Of course,a wicket is when you are knocked out of the game.

当然,三柱门是指你被淘汰出比赛。

So many ways you can be knocked out,but basically the batsman is out, that's what a wicket is in cricket.

你被击倒的方式有很多,但基本上击球手出局了,这就是板球中的三柱门。

So if we say we are on a sticky wicket,it means we're in an uncertain awkward or dangerous situation.

因此,如果我们说我们 on a sticky wicket,这意味着我们处于一个不确定的尴尬或危险的境地。

The perfect word would probably be to say &39;re in a precarious situation",a situation that involves risk.

最合适的词应该是 you're in a dangerous situation(你处于危险的境地)。

So if you&39;t have a proper contract and you're feeling very insecure.

所以,如果你处在一个很有可能失去工作的情况下,你没有一份合适的合同,你感到非常不安全。

非常漂亮用英语

You could say,&39;m on a sticky wicket here you know I don&39;m in a safe situation.&39;ve certainly used this phrase many many times.

It sounds very quintessentially English.

这是很典型的英语。

So it&34;to be on a sticky wicket",to be in an awkward or insecure situation.

所以使用“to be on a sticky wicket”是一个很好的用法,意思是处于尴尬或不安全的情况。

The next one is: to be stumped,to be stumped, which in cricket is one of the ways which you are caught out.

下一个是:to be stumped(受困),这在板球运动中是你被抓住的方式之一。

So one of the ways that a batsman is out.

击球手出局的方法之一。

Now to be stumped really means to be surprised to have no idea how to solve the problem.

be stumped,真的是惊讶于不知道怎么解决问题。

If we say &39;m stumped on that one&39;ve got no idea how to fix this or I'm confused about how to go forward.

如果我们说“I'm stumped on that one(我在这个问题上被难住了)”,我们的意思是我不知道如何解决这个问题,或者我对如何前进感到困惑。

I'm stumped.

我被难倒了。

So if you find yourself in a situation where you feel confused and you don&34;I&34; or just &39;ve got me stumped.&34;Many students feel quite stumped when it comes to the third conditional." Number seven is: to do something off your own bat,to do something off your own bat, meaning to do something that you want to do.

因此,如果你发现自己处于一种困惑的境地,你不知道该怎么办,你可以说“我真的被这件事难住了”,或者只是“嗯,你把我难住了”。&34;谈到第三个条件句时,许多学生感到很困惑。”第七是:to do something off your own bat(自觉地去做、自主地去做一件事),意思做一些你自己想做的事。

Nobody is pushing you to do this.

没人逼你这么做。

You do it out of your own desire.

你这样做是出于你自己的愿望。

So to do it off your own bat, nobody has pushed you into this you do it because you want to.

所以,要靠你自己去做,没有人强迫你去做,因为你想做。

So an example sentence would be,&39;t have to push her into going.&34;to catch someone out." Of course, this is one of the ways that a batsman is out that you can get a wicket.

举个例子,“莱拉有一次独自去了健身房,她的男朋友没有强迫她去。"八是:to catch someone out(当场抓住某人)。当然,这是击球手出局的一种方式,你可以得到一个三柱门。

So if you catch someone out,the idiom actually means that you find them out on something.

如果你 catch someone out,这个成语实际上意味着你发现了他们。

So it's really when you find that someone has done something wrong or made a mistake.

所以当你发现某人做错了什么事或犯了错误时,就可以使用这个短语。

So for example,if a girl thinks her boyfriend is cheating on her but he says &39;m not not cheating" or it could be vice versa but a guy thinks a girl is cheating.

举个例子,如果一个女孩认为她的男朋友对她不忠,但是他说“不,我没有不忠”,或者反之亦然,一个男孩认为一个女孩在不忠。

但实际上,一个朋友看到他或她和另一个女孩或男孩接吻,并拍了一张照片。

So there you would be able to say,&39;ve been caught out you said you weren&34; So there that would be to catch someone out so to find that they&39;ve made a mistake.

问题八:非常漂亮英语怎么写? 1 very beautiful 2 very nice 问题九:非常漂亮英文怎么写 非常漂亮,有多种表达:very beautiful,very good-looking, very pretty, how nice, very handsome。问题十:非常漂亮用英。

所以在那里你可以说,“你被发现了你说你没有不忠,但看看这张照片。”那就是 catch someone out,发现他们做错了什么或者他们犯了一个错误。

Number nine is: to throw someone a googly.

第九是:to throw someone a googly(给某人一个惊喜)。

The equivalent in American sports and in American English would be,&34;.

美国体育和美国英语中的对等词是 to throw a curveball。

Now in cricket, this means when a bowler throws a ball which spins in the opposite direction to what the batsman expects.

在板球运动中,这意味着投球手投出的球旋转方向与击球手预期的相反。

译文:very beautiful 重点词汇:very 英 ['veri]释义:adv.非常,很;完全;(非正式)典型地;最 adj.恰好的,正是的;十足的;唯独的;(时间、空间)最尽头的;真正的;最佳的 n.(Very) (法、爱)维里(人。

So he is surprised.

所以他很惊讶。

So when we say &34;,we present someone with information or a situation which is surprising for them.

所以当我们说 to throw someone a googly 时,我们给某人提供了令他们惊讶的信息或情况。

They are taken aback by this or even discombobulated.

他们对此感到吃惊,甚至困惑。

And you would know the meaning of that guys if you've watched my 12 beautiful English words which is up there.

如果你看过我上面的12个漂亮的英文单词,你就会知道这些词汇的意思了。

So basically you present them with information that is surprising or confusing.

基本上的意思是你给他们提供了令人惊讶或困惑的信息。

So an example sentence would be,&34; Dave really threw Jane and googly when he said that he wanted to go on a date with her.

举个例子,“戴夫跟简说他想跟她约会的时候,她感到十分惊讶”。当戴夫说他想和简约会时,她感到十分惊奇。

So number 10,the last one is: to be on the backfoot.

第十,最后一个习语是:to be on the backfoot(处于被动的地位)。

Now to be on the backfoot means to be in a weaker position or to start off in a weaker position or somehow you're pushed into a weaker position.

to be on the backfoot 意味着处于一个较弱的位置,或者从一个较弱的位置开始,或者不知何故你被推到一个较弱的位置。

For example,in cricket,if a batsman steps forward to hit the ball, usually he's in a stronger position.

例如,在板球比赛中,如果击球手向前击球,他通常处于更强的位置。

He's on his front foot.

它的前脚着地了。

But if he has to step backward onto his back foot,it's harder for him to hit the ball well.

但是如果他不得不后退一步,他就很难把球打好。

So &39;s on his back foot",meaning in a weaker position.

所以 he's on his back foot,意味着处于弱势地位。

So if we say,&39;s on the back foot in that one&39;s in a weaker position or he's got off to a bad start perhaps.

如果我们说,“oh,he's on the back foot in that one”,这意味着他处于一个较弱的位置,或者他可能有一个糟糕的开始。

So a good example sentence and we&34;Liverpool&34; And if we looked at it in the context of cricket,we might say England's high run rate put Australia on the back foot.

一个很好的例句,我们将用它来谈论另一项运动,“利物浦的早期进球让曼联处于下风。"如果我们从板球的角度来看,我们可能会说英格兰的高跑步率让澳大利亚落后了。

So there we go guys ten fantastic common everyday British idioms that we use that all come from a cricket.

好了,朋友们,这就是我们日常使用的十个来自板球的非常普通的英式习语。

If your country is in the World Cup,then I really hope that you do well best of luck to you.

如果你的国家参加了世界杯,那么我真的希望你的国家表现出色,祝你好运。

Of course,I'm supporting England.

当然,我是支持英国的。
