九国租界形成“洋路名”
Nine concessions formed "foreign road names"
天津在中国近代史上具有重要地位，原因就是它曾被迫开辟九国租界。租界沿海河两岸瓜分，海河西岸北起闸口街，南至小刘庄，依次为日、法、英、美、德租界；海河东岸北起狮子林大街，南至小孙庄，依次为奥、意、俄、比租界。
Tianjin is important in China's modern history because it was once forced to open up nine concessions. The concessions were along the Haihe River. In the west bank of the Haihe River Japanese，French，British，American and German concessions started from Zhakou Street in the north and ended at Xiaoliu Village in the south. On the east bank of the Haihe River Austrian，Italian，Russian and Belgian concessions started from Shizilin Street in the north and ended at Xiaosun Village in the south.

英租界
The British Concession
英租界街道以人名命名较多。
The streets of the British Concession were usually named after people.
For example，Zhongjie Street (now Jiefang North Road，from Yingkou Road to Kaifeng Road) was once named after Queen Victoria. Similar shifts in names were Parkes Road to Baoding Road，Gordon Road to Hubei Road and Liscum Road to Shanxi Road (from Yingkou Road to Nanjing Road).
或以大不列颠地名命名。
Sometimes，though，they were named after the places of Great Britain.
爱丁堡道—重庆道（河北路以西），剑桥道—重庆道（河北路以东），牛津道—新华路（南京路至马场道），都柏林道—郑州道等。
Edinburgh Road became Chongqing Road (west of Hebei Road)，Cambridge Road was renamed Chongqing Road (east of Hebei Road)，Oxford Road is now known as Xinhua Road (from Nanjing Road to Machang Road)，and Dublin Road is today's Zhengzhou Road.

一般来说直接说Heping Road就行
日租界的地名，多取自日本姓名。
The roads in the Japanese concession naturally had Japanese names:

The Russian Concession
俄租界的道路则多以俄国及其侵占地区的地名命名。
The roads of the Russian concession were mostly named after the places that belonged to or were occupied by Russia. For example:

【河北路】Hebei Road
1900～1919年由日、法、英三国租界分别修建。
日租界段名“芙蓉街”，法租界段名“德大夫路”，英租界段名“威灵顿道”。
The name of the Japanese section was "Fuyou Street"，the French section "Depasse Road"，and the British section "Wellington Road".
1946年以河北省名命今名。
【和平路】Heping Road
始建于1905年。
Built in 1905.
以锦州道为界，以北属日租界，名“旭街”；以南属法租界，名“杜领事路”。1946年统称“罗斯福路”。
Jinzhou Road being the boundary，the north part belonged to the Japanese Concession，which was named "Asahi Street"，and the south part belonged to the French Concession，which was named "Chaylard Road". In 1946 it was referred to as "Roosevelt Road".
1953年取热爱和平之意改名为“和平路”。
In 1953 it was renamed "Heping Road" to honor the idea of loving peace.
【新华路】Xinhua Road
1900年后由日、法、英三国租界分别修建。
It was built by the Japanese，French and British concession after 1900.
日租界段名“荣街”，法租界段名“樊主教路”，英租界段名“牛津路”。1946年统称“林森路”。
The Japanese section was named "Sakaye Street"，the French section was "Favier Road" and the British section was "Oxford Road". In 1946 it was named "Linsen Road" as a whole.
1949年取中华新生之意改名为“新华路”。
【解放北路】Jiefang North Road
1860年沦为英、法租界后修建。
It was built after becoming the British and French concession in 1860.
英租界段名“维多利亚道”（中街），法租界段名“大法国路”。1946年统称“中正路”。
The British section was named "Victoria Road" (Zhongjie Street) and the French section was called "Grande France Avenue". In 1946 the entire street was called "Zhongzheng Road".
1953年为纪念天津解放而改为今名。
It was renamed to its current name in 1953 to commemorate the liberation of Tianjin.
【建国道】Jianguo Road
1900年后由俄、意、奥三国租界分段修建。
After 1900 it was built by the Russian，Italian，and Austrian concessions.
俄租界段名“彼得格勒路”，又名“一纬路”；意大利租界段名“伊曼纽尔三世路”，又名“大马路”；奥地利租界段名“大马路”。

The Russian section was named "Petergrad Road"，and was also known as "Yiwei Road". The Italian section was named "Emanuel III Road"，or "Dama Road". The Austrian section was named "Dama Road."
