Part 1：问候复习
1. 问候

2. 复习
1) 出示单词卡片以快速抢答的方式复习下列词汇: bed，dresser，我们要培养兴趣的英文，lamp，closet，computer，slippers，TV，picture等，提问
问题，学生抢答。

让学生一起朗读这些单词。
2) 用一只玩具熊teddy bear复习以前学过的介词in，on和under把teddy bear放在桌子里、桌子上和桌子下面。
引导学生读。

“我来说，你来做”老师发出指令，学生按老师的指令去做。

Part 2：讲授新概念

继续用teddy bear来演示beside，above，below，between和across from的意思，鼓励学生大胆说出这些词的意义。
当学生在说这些词的意义时，老师用teddy bear表演相应的动作。
解释above和on的不同点，below和under的不同点，当一个物体接触到另一个物体时就用on，above 则经常意味着物体相互并不接触。Below 类似于under，但是物体间的距离不同。Under一般意味着物体间靠得很近，而below 意味着物体互相离得较远。
2. 用图片演示下列句子
The picture is above the bed. The bed is below the picture.
The dresser is beside the bed.
The dresser is between the bed and the closet..
The TV is across from the bed.
3. 看书跟读
4. 四人一组，用大家课前制作的家具物品模型拼摆一个卧室，就卧室内的摆设相互提问并回答。
甲: Where is the ? 乙: It's 。
教师巡视，检测学生对方位词的使用情况，及发音是否准确。
5. 小组表演展示他们的卧室及问答情况。
6. 鼓励学生用新学的词汇造出有关物品的方位的句子。
e.g. The book is beside the pencil—case.
鼓励学生大声读出他们造出的句子。

设计意图：通过复习“in，on，under”引出将要学习的新词汇“above，below，beside，across from”过渡自然，学生容易接受。
2. Put “teddy” on the desk，then put “teddy” above the desk，study above; put “teddy” under the desk，then put “teddy” below the desk，study below. Distinguish on and above，under and below.
3. Practice “in，on，under，above，below”.既简单又明了，又容易操作。
4. According to the location between one student and one student，or between one student and me，study beside，across from.
5. Practice “beside，across from” on their seat.
6. Ask four students to come the front，then let them stand in a square.
设计意图：此练习不仅可以练习今天所学内容，又可以锻炼学生的听力。

用中文将的under，below，above，over之间的关系总结出来：
Under是指正下方，距离比较近，below是指正下方、斜下方都可以。Under的距离较近些。Below和above是互为反义词，表示两者之间位置的高低；eg: The picture is above the blackboard. The blackboard is below the picture. Under 和over是互为反义词，under表示在某物的正下方，常常有一定的距离。Over表示在某物的正上方，一般是有一定的距离。Eg: There is a ball under the desk. There is a light over the desk.

用汉语讨论本单元篇章上图片。女孩穿着什么？她在做什么？说明她正走在回家的路上。把home写在黑板上，与学生一起读几遍。向学生说明本单元将学习有关家庭的一些用品和家庭活动的英语词汇。
用汉语提问学生有关卧室的情况。问他们卧室里有什么物品和摆放什么家具。
与学生一起朗读几遍bedroom同时把它写在黑板上。并且给出它的汉语意思。
2. 讨论第9课中女孩卧室的图片。

给学生解释same和different的汉语意思。学生已认识picture这个单词，教师读这个单词时，指着照片中的那幅图片。与学生一起朗读几遍单词，同时用手指着画有梳妆台、壁橱、灯和玩具熊的图片。向学生解释，在加拿大，许多孩子有玩具熊。
