火锅一年四季都有人喜欢吃，但你知道火锅真正的英文表达吗？
说成hotpot的怕是要吃个寂寞了~
一.hotpot不是“火锅”！
hotpot在国外是:土豆炖肉
焖罐(内装炖的肉、土豆、洋葱等);小电热锅(可烧水或热饭)
hotpot没有火锅的意思，如果你约外国朋友吃火锅时说hotpot，外国人只会以为你想吃土豆炖肉。
例:
火锅的英文名是Hot Pot。火锅，古称“古董羹”，因食物投入沸水时发出的“咕咚”声而得名，它是中国独创的美食，历史悠久，是一种老少皆宜的食物。周代的鼎器应是火锅最早的雏形，据考证，战国时期即有火锅，时人以陶罐为。

二.“火锅”怎么说？
“火锅”的英文是: hot pot
hot和pot，一定是分开的
为避免误会，“火锅”要这样说: Chinese hot pot
这样，加了特色的Chinese，不管是合在一起的，还是分开的，老外都能get到你的意思。
例：
I enjoy eating the spicy hot pot with my friends in the winter.
在冬天，我喜欢和朋友一起吃麻辣火锅。
如果你怕说错的话，也可以用chaffy dish。
例：
I had chaffy dish for supper last night，你知道火锅的英语怎么说，but it seemed tasteless to have supper alone.，
昨晚我自己吃火锅，但好像一个人的晚饭没有那么香。
在国外，一般用fondue来表示火锅。fondue既可以表示奶酪火锅，也可以表示热油火锅。

一边麻辣一边清汤：
