Preposition of time表示时间的介词
2.1 On
On经常用于具体的某一天之前。
My father works on Mondays.
我父亲经常在周一工作。
【Monday就是具体的一天，所以用on；另外注意，因为父亲工作通常发生在周一，可以理解为“很多周一”，因此应该是复数，即Mondays】
The conference is on 27，July.
会议将在7月27日举行。
【日期即是具体的一天，因此应该用on】
2.2 In
介词翻译成英语，In和during有类似的意义，即“在某段时间内”。In用于月份、年份、季节以及一天之内一个笼统的时间概念，如早上、下午等。
It never snows in winter in Hainan.
海南的冬天不会下雪。
I was born in 1995.
我出生于1995年。
The National Day is in October.
国庆节在十月。
介词（preposition ，简写prep.）又称作前置词，表示名词、代词等与句中其他词的关系，在句中不能单独作句子成分。介词后面一般有名词、代词或相当于名词的其他词类、短语或从句作它的宾语，表示与其他成分的关系。介词和它的。
I usually clean the house in the morning.

2.3 At
At经常用于表达具体时间点，即“几点几分”
My brother gets up at 10 this morning.
今天早上我哥哥10点才起床。
2.4 At the weekend / On the weekend
I go to the gym at the weekends.
我通常在周末去健身房。
2.5 Past and To
Past和To可以用来表达时间。
It’s twenty past six.
现在是6：20。
It’s one to three。
现在是2：59。
2.6 From … to …
From表示某事开始的时间，to表示某事结束的时间。
I work from 10am to 6pm.
我从上午10点工作到下午6点。
2.7 Between A and B
A为某事开始的时间，B为某事结束的时间。
I work between 10am and 6pm.
我在早上10点到下午6点之间工作。
prep. = 介系词（介词）；前置词，preposition的缩写 pron .= 代名词（代词），pronoun的缩写 n .= 名词，noun的缩写 v. = 动词，兼指及物动词和不及物动词，verb的缩写 conj. = 连接词 ，conjunction的缩写 s = 。
2.8 Until
Until表示某事一直持续到某个时间点。
I will be swimming until four o’clock.
我将一直游泳到四点。
2.9 Since
Since表示某事从什么时候开始，即“自从”
I have been living here since 1995.
我从1995年开始就住在这里。
2.10 For
For用于表示某事持续了多长时间。
I have been living here for 30 years.
我在住了30年了。
2.11 During
During表示某事所持续的时间区间。
I was talking with my teacher during the break.
课间休息的时候和我的老师在谈话。
2.12 By
By 用于表示某事将会在某个时间点结束。
Please finish the meeting by 12 o’clock.
请在12点钟之前结束会议。
2.13 Before
Before表示某事在某时间点或其他事情之前结束。
I will finish the report before the meeting.
我会在开会之前完成这份报告。
2.14 After
After用于某事在另一件事之后开始。
She will clean the meeting room after themeeting.
她将在会议结束之后打扫会议室。
Other prepositions in use其他介词的应用
3.1 By
He fixed the phone by shaking it.
他把手机摇一摇就修好了。
【shaking是一种动作，即修好手机的方式，用by表示】
This is a famous book by Mo Yan.
这是莫言写的一本有名的书。
【书是由莫言所写，所以用by表示】
Roc usually goes to work by subway.
Roc通常坐地铁上班。
【by subway是指乘坐地铁】
The room was cleaned by Roc。
房间是Roc打扫的。
【be done by somebody是被动语态，by是指“被某人”】
3.2 With and Without
With由以下几种用法，表示：
“和某人一起”
I went shopping with my mother.
我和妈妈一起去购物。
“伴随或拥有”

She cleaned the floor with a new mop.

Without表示“没有”
She went to her friend’s birthday party without a gift.

那个男孩太好了，他帮我拿行李了。
I am interested in art.

The boy is talking with my brother.

6. Nouns with prepositions名词与介词搭配
It is a photo of my family.

7. Words with different prepositions同一个单词与不同介词搭配
She is talking with the teacher.

She is talking about the teacher.
