在英语中经常有这样的情况：
2个不同的单词能表示同一种意思
但其用法又有天壤之别
比如：tall 和 high、open 和 turn on
今天我们一起来区分一下
NO.1
表示“高”用 tall 还是 high 呢？
我现在比两年前高了。I am taller than I was in two years ago.I am taller than myself who was in two years ago.都可以的 希望可以帮到你 望采纳
如果要修饰的物体是
▌“人、植物、动物” 这些有生命的个体
我们就用 tall 来形容

比如：
-He is tall.
他很高。
▌如果修饰的是“没有生命的物体”就用 high
比如：
-He got high score.
他得了高分。
-The mountain is high.
那座山很高。
▌如果形容的是建筑物两者都可以用
a tall/high building 都可以。

为什么“开灯”不能用 open ?
open 可表示 “打开，开”
▌一般指的是“打开闭合的东西”
比如：

open the window (打开窗)
open your mouth （张开嘴巴）
我比两年前高：I'm taller than was two years ago.我比两年前高了很多：I'm much taller than was two years ago.不知道你是否跟比较级中那类不能加er变比较级所以前面加more比较级跟混了,比如：more important.。
▌而打开各种电器要用“turn on”
所以开灯是 turn on the light
