在日常学习中for好像只能跟时间段连用，整夜的英语短语，而不能跟时间点连用，这是当初英语老师强调有强调的。其实for除了和时间段连用之外，也可以用于表示将来的具体时间，后接跟具体的时间点，也可以跟具体日期。
一般介词 for 在此表示将时间安排“在”某时间。又如：
I’ll order a taxi for 10 o’clock.
我将预订了10点钟的出租车。
We’ve invited our guests for 9 o’clock.
我们已经邀请客人九点钟到达。
I’ll order a taxi for 11.
