01 angry
首先是大家最熟悉的angry，angry可能是大家最早认识的表示“生气”的单词。但其实在口语中angry并不是很常用，因为angry相对来说比较formal，多用于书面语。

如果想加强程度，可以说barking mad/ howling mad，表示气疯了、气到极点。bark是狗吼的意思，barking指（英，非正式）疯狂的，精神错乱的。howl是（狗、狼）嚎、嚎啕大哭、大声吼叫。

be/ get mad at sb.

03 pissed off

pissed off很口语，而且侧重于一种短暂的生气状态，可以翻译成被惹生气、气死了。一般用于朋友之间，是带点粗俗的口语。注意，英国英语里pissed off是喝醉的意思。

表示暴怒、狂怒、非常气愤，比angry程度高很多。

05 annoyed
被某件事惹恼了，有一点点生气。annoy本身指“干扰、打扰”，引申可作“使烦恼，使恼怒”解，强调经常的、不断的干扰、激怒或苦恼。比如邻居家总是深夜用洗衣机，让我很抓狂。annoy表示“因…而生气”时，常用于be～ed结构。
常见搭配：
be annoyed with sth./ sb.生…的气（后接使人烦恼的具体的人或者事情）
be annoyed at因…而恼怒（后接抽象名词，或者动词的ing形式，表原因）
例句：
Susan felt slightly annoyed with herself.
苏珊有点生自己的气。
这场比赛我们打得很痛快，但是比赛失利令我们很懊恼。
06 upset
这个词既表示“生气”，又表示“担心”，本意是指“弄翻”，比如upset the cup；比如肠胃不舒服get an upset stomach.当心情被打乱的时候，既可以是生气，也可以是担心。
表示你说的话让我很生气，说I'm upset about what you said to me.（这里就不是很担心，而是你刚才说的话让我很生气很烦，心情没办法平静。）
07 freak out
和upset一样，并没有对应的中文来翻译，只是一种情绪失控的状态，至于原因可以多种。害怕、生气、抓狂、惊讶、悲伤都可以让你情绪失控，表示极度激动，可以是遇到欣喜若狂的事情，也可以是被气到极度激动。中文中“发飙”用freak out是最合适的。
例句：
老板知道结果后当场发飙。
We are almost freaking out if you don't turn up.
你再不出现的话，我们都快要疯了。
他收到解雇通知书吓坏了。
08 kill
kill也可以用来表示生气，生气到就像被kill掉一样。
例句：
It really killed me when I know my colleague spoke ill of me.

09 go bananas
go bananas表示发疯、发狂、勃然大怒，极度兴奋激动。除了“go bananas”，我们还可以用drive someone bananas来形容发疯。

blow可以解释为"吹气"的"吹"。但是，在这里解释为"爆炸"。Top一般来说是最高的意思，在这里是指人的头顶。所以，to blow one's top的字面意思就是把某人的头顶都炸开了。俗语的意思几乎跟中文里的怒发冲冠相似。

make one's blood boil指火冒三丈，气到血压升高、热血沸腾的那种。

表示非常生气、愤怒，这是非正式的表达，只适合口语化的场合；fit用作名词的时候可以表示"突发"的意思，经常用在短语a fit of当中，中文翻译为"一阵，一时"。

Tick me off!表示非常生气，语气较重。除了用来表达“人”让你不爽以外，也可以用来表达“事”或“物”让你不爽。
