I．语言点精讲
1. What kind of dance are you learning? 你正在学哪种舞蹈？
What kind of…? 意为“哪一种……？”。
例：你想要哪种食物？ What kind of food do you want?
你最喜欢哪种电影？ What kind of movie do you like best?

2. Well，how about Tuesday? 嗯，周二怎么样？
How about…? “……怎么样呢？”，常用于询问对方的情况或征求意见、提出建议等，其后接名词、代词或动名词。
例：去游泳怎么样？ How about going swimming? （动名词）
喝杯酒怎么样?How about a drink? （名词）
其他用于征求意见、提出建议的句型：
（1）What about…? 与How about…？用法相同。
例：今天天气不错。去打网球怎么样？
It’s sunny today. How / What about playing tennis?
（2）Why not …?/ Why don’t you …? 为什么不做……呢？
例：为什么不去散步呢？
Why not go for a walk?=Why don’t you go for a walk?

(1) full作形容词，意为“忙的；满的；充满的”，此处意为“忙的”，相当于busy，其反义词是free“空闲的”。
His life is too full to find time for hobbies.

(2) full作形容词，还可意为“满的；充满的”，反义词为empty“空的”。be full of 与be filled with同义，意为“充满”。
The bottle is full of water.= The bottle is filled with water.
4. How come? 为什么呢？
How come?常用于英语口语中，可译为“为什呢？”或 “怎么会呢?”，既可独立使用，也可在其后接句子，用来 询问事情的缘由或状况。
How come the sky is so blue today?
Tom didn't come to school today? Really? How come?
【易混辨析】why与how come
Why 其后接的句子要用疑问语序。
Why are you late again?
how come 其后接的句子要用陈述语序。

5.What do you usually do on weekends? 你在周末通常干什么？
I often go to the movies. 我经常去看电影。
(1) 前一个do为助动词，构成疑问句结构，后一个do 为实义动词，“做，干”。助动词do要随人称、 时态等做相应的变化。
例：她周末干什么？
What does she do on weekends?
(2) usually 作副词，表示“通常地”，是由“形容词(usual)+ly”构成的副词，你可以做你想做的事英语翻译，usually是不确定的频度副词，对其进行提问时应用How often....?
例：我通常7:30 起床。
I usually get up at 7:30.
(3) weekend作名词，“周末（星期六和星期日)”。
on weekends (美式英语)意为“在周末”，指在星期六和星期天，相当于 at weekends (英式英语)。而on the weekend则表示“在这个周末”，是特指某个周末。
周末我要去购物。I will go shopping on the weekend. (特指本周末)
6. use the Internet
Internet相当于the Net，意为“(国际)互联网；因特网”。
请回忆一下上周日你做了哪些事情？英语：I got up at 10am. I had my breakfast at 11am. Then I went to see my friend. We played basketball in the park. In the afternoon, we went to a cinema and 。
其前常用定冠词the修饰。常用短语：surf the Internet “网上冲浪”；on the Internet“在互联网上”。

7. help with housework 帮忙做家务
1) help (sb.) with sth. “在某方面帮助某人”
例：琼斯老师，你能帮我学英语吗？
Can you help me with my English，Mr. Jones?
我弟弟经常在家帮忙做家务。
My brother often helps with housework at home.
2) help sb. with sth. = help sb. (to) do sth. 帮助某人做某事
例：我经常帮妈妈做家务。
I often help my mother with housework.=I often help my mother (to) do housework.
3) help oneself (to sth.) 随便吃（某物）；款待
例：随便吃点儿水果。 Help yourself to some fruit.
4) can’t / couldn’t help doing sth. 情不自禁做某事
例：她忍不住哭了。 She couldn’t help crying.
8. Sometimes 有时
sometimes频度副词，意为“有时”。同义短语为at times。
例：我有时候玩电脑游戏。
I sometimes play computer games.
【辨析】sometimes，some times，sometime与some time
1）sometimes：频度副词，意为“有时”，表示动作发生的不经常性，多与一般现在时连用，它可位于句首、句中或句末，对它提问用how often。
2）some times：名词短语，意为“几次；几倍”，其中time是可数名词，对它提问用how many times。
4）some time：名词短语意为“一段时间”，表示“一段时间”时，句中谓语动词常为延续性动词。对它提问用how long。

“有时”相聚加s（sometimes） “几次”分开带s（some times）
相聚为“某时（sometime）” 分开“一段时间（some time）

9. How often do you watch TV? 你多久看一次电视？
Twice a week. 每周两次。
多久进行一次某个（活动）的频率;
回答时可用once / twice / three times a day，sometimes，never，very often等。
【辨析】how often、how long、how soon、 how many times
1）how often “多久一次”，用来提问频率。
2）how long “（延续）多长时间”，用来询问时间的长短；也可询问某物的长度。回答时用for 或since引导的时间状语。
3）how soon “还要多久（时间）才……”，一 般用将来时态，回答用in引导的时间状语。
4）how many times “多少次”，用于询问次数，回答用once，three times等。
(2)twice a week “一周两次”。once表示“一次”，twice表示“两次”，“三次及以上”要用“基数词+times”表示。 three times 三次
